July 11th - Response to Webinars

Today I watched the two webinars on Kurzweil 3000. I thought they were both very helpful in explaining how this program works. I think this would be an excellent program to use with both reluctant readers and writers. It really has a wealth of options for a variety of learning needs!

I really like the "sticky note" and "column note" options. Options like this allow people to do more than read - they get to demonstrate their comprehension by answering the questions. I like how there is a "Voice Note" option for reluctant writers. 

This would be a great way to test a student who is struggling with their reading or writing. There is no demands put on them to read or write and they are able to demonstrate their knowledge by listening and responding with the click of a button.

It's good to know that the Help menu provides detailed descriptions, as I'm sure I will need to refer to it a lot in the beginning. I'm looking forward to exploring this program tomorrow!
